Repository description.

The nucleus of the Archive, originally known as the Eranos Archive, was gathered in the 1940's from various European museums and libraries, by Olga Froebe, a student of Carl G. Jung. The Archive consists of photographs and reproductions of works of art, ritual images, and artifacts that depict archetypal images as defined by Jung. Images date from the Paleolithic period to the present.
